Remarkable is a life coaching company that works with men who struggle with nice-guy behaviors. Our mission is to help men reclaim their masculine power, connect with their purpose, and experience a deeper level of connection, intimacy, and romance in their relationships. Remarkable is committed to helping men who may be advancing in their careers but are losing ground in their personal lives! We support these men as they shift gears and refocus on the areas of life that will far outlast any job or any other externally validating attachments such as (houses, cars, etc.). We help men refocus, find their fire, and harness their internal power to overhaul their lives in a good way!
Coaching is the art of unlocking a person's potential to maximize their performance. It encourages individuals to embark on a journey from where they are to where they want to be, with greater competence and fulfillment.
"A nice-guy's primary goal is to make OTHER PEOPLE happy..."
- Dr. Robert Glover.
As you can imagine, anyone living according to other people will have a hard time getting in tune with themselves. That's the problem; nice guys live on others' terms and often don't realize that making others happy in this manner will come at the expense of themselves!
Consequently, nice guys live a repressed, lackluster life, full of rage and regret. Ask me how I know? Because I'm a recovering NICE-GUY myself!
Mark A. Rumph II, is a certified professional life coach, motivational speaker, mentor, husband, and pastor. He has based his life's work on helping men who struggle with nice-guy behaviors. He helps them reclaim their masculine power, connect with their purpose, and experience a deeper level of connection, intimacy, and romance in their relationships!
Mark has a natural ability to get to the root of problems, helping individuals unlock their fullest potential. Mark provides a safe space for his clients to unmask, unwind, and process through life's challenges with intentionality and strategy.
Mark journeys with his clients to help them identify areas of opportunity and formulate practical goals aligned with their desires and their life's purpose. Clients leave with a better sense of vision, ready to leap into action and take control of their lives! Mark uses his leadership & life experiences to insert wisdom and insight into each session. He helps clients see beyond their current scope by listening beyond the words being said so that clients can consciously think through what often gets overlooked.
Mark works with men experiencing grief. Although the death of a loved one is painful, grief is not limited to death. Mark lost his father at age nine and is well versed in what it means to grieve the loss of a significant role such as a father. However, grief goes beyond death. Mark works with men who are grieving life; Hurts, pains, disillusionments, betrayals, let downs, shattered dreams, and the like.
Mark grew up in a single-parent home, and despite his mother's best efforts, he still experienced the detriment of not having a father around. Growing up without a role model, mentor, and masculine presence to show him the way was challenging. Now, after years of exploring what healthy masculinity and manhood are, Mark helps his clients explore these topics in their own lives.
Mark helps his clients trade in environments riddled with control, manipulation, and mind games for ones filled with peace, passion, and purpose. Mark helps his clients face the traumatic experiences they've faced head-on and begin the process of healing, setting boundaries, practicing self-love, and seeing the true value of their self-worth detached from what they can "do" and connected to their "being," who they are.
Mark helps his clients learn to say "No" to things that don't serve them well (whatever that may be) and "Yes" to what they both want and need. Again, Mark's work covers identity (purpose), grief, male vulnerability, self-love, and self-worth. Mark has had to work through the de-masking process, learning to stop hiding, playing small, and just barely existing, so he could show up vulnerably, being fully present, operating in his power, and you can too!
